Deal with Lawlessness

---Raise Up the Standard …

In Your Courts of Law: (Executive-Legislative-Judicial)

Execute True Judgment

These are the things which you should do:

“Speak the truth with one another; Judge with truth and pronounce the judgment that brings peace in [the courts at] your gates. And let none of you devise or even imagine evil in your heart against another, and do not love lying or half-truths; for all these things I hate,” declares the Lord.

- Zechariah 8:16-17 (AMP)

There is so much perversion and twisting of Truth in our judicial system. Indictment of a criminal who has committed a serious crime get away with the law. They post a bail allowing a person charged with a criminal offence to be out of jail while they wait for their trial. This will allow a person to go on hiding and escape punishment.

The Word of God says, DO Not Delay Justice…

-There Is A Saying,

“Justice Delayed Is Justice Denied”…

When a crime is not punished quickly, people feel it is safe to do wrong. - Ecc 8:11(NLT) Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.

– Ecclesiastes 8:11 (AKJV)

A Crime Worthy of Death… -Death Penalty By Hanging-

“If someone has committed a crime worthy of death and is executed and hung on a tree, the body must not remain hanging from the tree overnight. You must bury the body that same day, for anyone who is hung is cursed in the sight of God. In this way, you will prevent the defilement of the land the Lord your God is giving you as your special possession. – Deuteronomy 21:22 NLT

The authorities here on earth have been given power by the Lord to inflict punishment to those who commit a crime. It could be a death penalty, it is the law of the land.

God has instituted all authorities to govern here on earth.

There is no authority except that is appointed by God.

Respect for Authority

Everyone must submit to governing authorities. For all authority comes from God, and those in positions of authority have been placed there by God. So anyone who rebels against authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and people who are doing right, but in those who are doing wrong. Would you like to live without fear of the authorities? Do what is right, and they will honor you. The authorities are God’s servants, sent for your good. But if you are doing wrong, of course you should be afraid, for they have the power to punish you. They are God’s servants, sent for the very purpose of punishing those who do what is wrong. So you must submit to them, not only to avoid punishment, but also to keep a clear conscience.

- Romans 13:1-7 (NLT)

Honor Authority

Submit yourselves to [the authority of] every human institution for the sake of the Lord [to honor His name], whether it is to a king as one in a position of power, or to governors as sent by him to bring punishment to those who do wrong, and to praise and encourage those who do right. For it is the will of God that by doing right you may silence (muzzle, gag) the [culpable] ignorance and irresponsible criticisms of foolish people. Live as free people, but do not use your freedom as a cover or pretext for evil, but [use it and live] as bond-servants of God. Show respect for all people [treat them honorably], love the brotherhood [of believers], fear God, honor the king.

-1 Peter 2:13-17 (AKJV) -

The Soldier’s Duty – Is To Serve and To Protect

---To defend those who are oppressed---

Extort No More

Some soldiers asked him (John the Baptist), “And what about us, what are we to do?” And he replied to them, “Do not extort money from anyone or harass or blackmail anyone, and be satisfied with your wages.”

- Luke 3:14 NLT -

Do Not Accept a Bribe!!!

You shall not distort justice; you shall not be partial, and you shall not take a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and perverts the words of the righteous.

- Deut 16:19 (AMP) -

“You shall not accept a bribe, for a bribe blinds the clear-sighted and subverts the testimony and the cause of the righteous. - Exodus 23:8(AMP) -
